Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They make it possible to recognize your access, remember preferences and understand how pages are used.

We also use similar technologies such as localStorage and sessionStorage, which keep information in the browser itself (for example, your light/dark theme choice). For simplicity, this policy refers to all of them as “cookies”.

It complements our Privacy Policy, which describes how we process personal data in general.

These are required for basic operation and cannot be disabled. Without them the service does not work properly:

• Session and authentication: keep you securely signed in to the application
• Security: protection against fraud, abuse and automated access
• Language: remembers the language chosen on the website (gz_locale cookie)
• Interface preferences: light/dark theme (gz-theme, in localStorage)
• Consent record: stores your choice in the cookie banner (gz-cookie-consent, in localStorage)

The legal basis for essential cookies is legitimate interest and the performance of the contracted service (LGPD, art. 7, V and IX).

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics as the website's main metric. It works without cookies and does not identify individual visitors.

Additional analytics tools (for example, Google Analytics) are only loaded after your consent in the cookie banner. They help us understand which pages are most visited and how to improve the content.

With your explicit consent, we may load pixels from advertising platforms (for example, Meta) to measure campaigns and show relevant GeZap offers on other channels.

Without consent, no marketing cookie is created. Declining does not change how the website or the application works.

Some integrated services may set their own cookies when you interact with them. For example: payment providers during a subscription or social sign-in providers at login.

Those cookies are governed by each provider's privacy policy. We recommend reading the policies of each service.

• Session cookies: expire when you close the browser
• Persistent cookies and preferences: last up to 12 months or until you clear them
• Consent: your choice is valid for up to 12 months; after that, we ask again

1. In the website banner · When visiting the website, choose between “Accept all” and “Essential only”. You can change your mind at any time by returning to this page.
2. In your browser · Every browser lets you block or delete cookies in its privacy settings. Note that blocking essential cookies may prevent signing in to the application.
3. Withdrawing consent · Clear the site data in your browser (or the localStorage) so the banner is shown again and you can make a new choice.

We may update this policy to reflect legal changes or new features. The date of the last update appears in the footer of this page.
